In order to obtain funding, we need to find out who these children are, where they are, and in what conditions they are living.
May 1st thru October 31st:
All new prisoners admitted to the City of Philadelphia Prison System
for a six-month or longer sentence will be required to fill out a
demographics questionnaire that will include:
Number of children
Ages of children
Sex of children
Names (optional)
Optional: caregiver name, address, phone number
Rate Relationship: good or fair/poor/non-existent
May 1st thru October 31st: Request for volunteers among the above population to participate in the ACF program.
May 1st thru October 31st: Above gathered data entered into Client System Software by Food For Life Staff.
June 1st thru October 31st: Interview volunteer inmates to select best-qualified candidates for program.
June 1st thru October 31st: Contact caregivers and children identified from collected data to determine their status.

Health care
Mentoring
Social services, etc.
Services Not Received But Needed:
October 31st:
Using data entered into Client System Software over previous six
months, evaluate progress of ACF program to date. Analyze services
needed for children. Analyze benefits to inmates for family
reunification feasibility.
